Ellie Greenwich, author of classic pop songs such as 'Chapel of Love','River Deep, Mountain High,' 'Da Doo Ron Ron,' 'Hanky Panky,' '(And) Then HeKissed Me,' and 'Be My Baby', has died at the age of 68. As one of themajor influences of 1960's Pop music, Ellie's songs earned her over 25 goldand platinum records during her outstanding career.
